Project Manager

We are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager as part of our continued growth. The role is working for a team on client-site who are part of the Product Creation department that is responsible for the toolset used during the development and engineering of our clients products. The role of the team is to support the on-going expansion of the business and enable the provision of engineering collaboration solutions using the product creation toolset.

Key Responsibilities:-
*Manage interface between Product Creation and the Vehicle Programmes across the PD and AME organisations to improve time-to-market, increase product quality, and reduce cost during the product life cycle.
*Enable the strategic use of technology by the business for embedding new product development processes
*Pro-actively drive for continuous improvement via business engagement and working with Technology delivery teams ensuring that communication across project and programme boundaries is paramount.

Key tasks are:-
*Develop, maintain and manage the relationship with vehicle programmes across PD and AME business areas
*Work with local and international business teams to understand the requirements of Vehicle programmes.
*Interface with IT business engagement representatives; highlighting key PD issues and raising issues to the appropriate level of management
*Development and implementation of metrics to review success and contribute to PD performance scorecard.
*Act as departmental interface to GBE PMTI team to capture new requirements and feedback on progress of related technology projects.
