Project Manager

We are seeking Project Managers to join us in Flint Michigan.

Must have banking experience and some experience working with Accounting Systems or Accounting projects.

Selected individuals will be responsible for planning, organizing, scheduling, and controlling project activities to achieve performance, dollar and time objectives for a given scope of work. Manage large complex projects primarily (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of technology -- including new products or systems development, major enhancements and consolidations

- Write complex project plans.  Supervise tasks and coordinate all resources to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to client's satisfaction.  Assist technical personnel and business unit personnel in the implementation efforts of all aspects of project plans.
- Direct the activities of the project team members through scheduled meetings. Manage the critical path. Track progress against the plan using a project management software toolset. Review deliverables produced by project team members to assure the quality of work and adherence to project management best practices.
- Prepare status reports on scheduled meetings.  Responsible for communication of project status (issues and activities) to sponsoring executives and business management, Services Division Management and project team members.  
- Coordinate and acquire the necessary systems development, technical, business unit, and operations resources to meet assigned project goals and objectives.
- Take the lead in formulating proposals for new systems and information needs by analysing existing systems and procedures and define technical and procedural improvements.  Prepare vendor score cards and Request for Proposals (RFPs).
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors/Associate degree
- Experience in banking applications or support of banking systems required
- Demonstrated knowledge of Project Management
- Experience working with Accounting Systems or Accounting projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with automated project tracking tools (ie, Microsoft Project, etc.)
