Project Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Activities include coordinating the delivery of multiple projects, developing cost benefit analyses for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, allocating resources across the multiple projects, defining project governance policies and managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties.

The position is being opened to support a new initiative for Healthcare reform. The PM candidate will be required to come up to speed quickly on the project and start managing Project Management artifacts.

REQUIREMENTS:

- BACHELOR\'S DEGREE in Computer Science or equivalent. Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills.
- Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units.
- Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines.
- Not have a minimum set of years; however, for both of these projects I need people who have been involved IN LARGE SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATIONS BEFORE AND UNDERSTAND THE SDLC.
- They will need to have experience facilitating meetings with large groups of people, conducting interviews with SMEs to elicit business and user requirements, documenting requirements, documenting use cases, DEVELOPING TEST CASES AND TEST SCENARIOS AND BEING PART OF IMPLEMENTATIONS.
- Expectation is that qualified candidates would have a minimum of 5 years of experience. Candidates coming with a background OF IT OR MANAGEMENT CONSULTING would have the necessary experience for both the PM or the BA position; health care experience not required however it would help.
- Bachelors degree is a minimum
- Attention to detail, ability to communicate with several different levels (executive, technical project management, testing, business owners), project management.

For the PM - running issue meetings, developing and tracking project plans, escalating risks and issues to leadership, working with design/development teams to solution, conducting interviews with SMEs.
