Project Manager

Due to a large amount of new projects being won my client has an immediate requirement for an experienced project manager to assist on a baggage handliong project. As the Project Manager you will be based at Heathrow on an initial 6 Month contract - rate will be discussed in the interview but as a guide (£40/Hour+ dependant on experience) Job Profile: As part of the continued business growth and development within UK airports, my client intends to appoint a Baggage Project Manager to be based at Heathrow Airport. My client has been appointed as the baggage integrator for the new South Terminal baggage facility. They will also deliver a key baggage project at Gatwick Airport therefore in the medium to long term this role could involve supporting said BHS project. The successful candidate will manage a small multidisciplinary workforce supporting the client with potential solutions and interfacing with various stakeholders will also form part of the day to day role. You will be a very self motivated individual with a natural desire for delivery and success.   Applicants Profile: Ideally you will be degree qualified within an Electronic engineering background; HNC / HND with significant experience is acceptable. Minimum 5 years experience in a Baggage Project Manager position Minimum 5 years experience within airports and automated systems Area's of responsibility: Understanding of SAC systems. Knowledge of network design and configuration. Knowledge of PLC systems, S7 and Modicon would be advantageous. Familiar with SCADA packages.   Reporting Structure: You will be reporting to the Head of Design and Project Delivery What we offer: Negotiable depending upon experience
