Project Manager

An opportunity exists within this high profile organisation for an experienced PROJECT MANAGER to develop a PROJECT BRIEF/PROJECT INITIATION DOCUMENT for a system enhancement project which will include new and existing functionality from older systems.

The Brief will consist of:

- Objectives
- Business and Functional scope.
- Proposed business systems architecture
- Indicative timeframe and releases.
- Business case, reasons, costs and benefits
- Approach; stages, releases (short term, medium and long term).
- Risk identification

The successful candidate will have excellent Project Management skills with a background in Business Analysis and in writing Business cases, as well as the following:

- Demonstrated ability holding workshops, focus groups, and one on one interviews with executive directors
- Experience in the development of web-based application systems
- Ability to examine existing systems at a functional level in a short timeframe
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills,

Certification in Prince 2, or experience writing a detailed Prince 2 project brief would be highly regarded.
