Project Manager

Change & Controls Project Manager/Glasgow/Defence Industry/£27.50 Ltd per hour/6 Month Contract

My client is a well established and highly successfule engineering organisation within the defence arena. Due to an ever increasing work load, they are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager with experience of change and controls management to join their dedicated team of professionals.

In order to be suitable you should fulfil the following criteria:

Key Accountabilities:

- To embed business cycles, processes and techniques into the end to end BMS for Controls and Change.
- To provide the business with data and reports at all levels that allow the Project to deliver success safely in support of and exceeding cost, quality and schedule targets.
- To Manage the performance of their teams based on customer satisfaction surveys, balanced scorecard and PDR deliverables
- To manage in detail the improvement of individuals incorporating Skills Matrix, PDRs, Succession Planning and NVQ Process
- Deliver continuous improvement through use of the lessons leaned process and encouraged and encouraging to seek out innovative solutions
- To take ownership and ensure integrity coherency and timeliness of the data elements owned within the Integrated Business Systems
- Undertake Interviews and recruit in line with budget and SOP profile ensuring the Project is adequately supported by SQEP personnel.
- To Develop employee relationships at all levels and ensure recognition of achievements are rewarded
- To represent Controls at meetings within the project to external customer and ACA and at all levels of the business.
- To SOP data as required by the business drumbeat and support of timely provision of resource and IBP matters.
- To Identify, mitigate and realise Opportunity and Risk on the project whether within the role remit or without.
- To influence and efficiently manage the element of PM budget allocated across the controls scope of work.
- Deliver a 'one' team mentality and process across all sites ensuring where possible seamless process and output from the sites.
