Halifax
£400 daily rate
6 month contract

Our client, a leading financial service organisation is currently looking for a Project manager to be based at their offices in Halifax for a contract position. The job holder will lead the delivery of the changes to marketing literature and pre-printed materials that are required for the retained business, to support the wider divestment of a standalone bank in 2013.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Undertake all aspects of the design and project management duties and comply with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate the cascade of brand guidelines and designs to marketing work streams.
- Coordinate work streams and third parties through the design and build of marketing materials.
- Coordinate delivery of changes to marketing materials across work streams escalating risks and issues accordingly.
- Define work stream funding requirements and track spend.
- Represent the project at key working and management groups.
- Liaise with the sponsor or stakeholder departments to develop "brief" requirements.
- Prepare feasibility "desk top exercises" with costing to support "business case" preparation. - Liaise closely with client, offering scheme alternatives.
- Formulate project specific programmes to include phasing, planned procurement and project specific client requirements.
- Produce full production information, CAD drawings and specifications.
- Assess best value and most practical solutions for compliance with DDA.
- Prepare and submit planning, signage and listed building applications and support landlords and party wall agreements.
- Co-ordinate design input from specialist trade contractors, suppliers and other disciplines in the design and costing of specialist bespoke areas of design.
- Analyse scope of projects and organise into tailored bid packages.
- Formulate bid documentation and undertake trade contractor procurement.
- Ensure that trade package works are fully co-ordinated throughout the construction process.
- Undertake duties of Planning Supervisor under CDM.
- Undertake investigation of building fabric and dimensional surveys.
- At close of project produce/update "As Built" information O&M manuals and Health & Safety information.
- Support the introduction of new initiatives and development of best practice, feedback to team.
- Ensure that line manager is updated on all projects via work in hand project list.
- Complete CPD and learning opportunities to maintain and develop specialist skills and knowledge.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBIAT or RIBA Part II or equivalent and proven experience.
- Competence in Autocad.
