Project Manager

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a PROJECT MANAGER to assist with the development of a requirement to support an Integrated Information Management and Analysis System. Reporting to the General Manager, Field & Information Management, you will be required to plan, manage and deliver complex project based solutions.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Monitor and report on project status and financial aspects of the project
- Manage the design, documentation and development of business requirements that support key business, process and software systems
- Monitor and manage external vendors
- Assist in the evaluation of proposed system solution to ensure delivery of solutions is consistent with defined client expectations
- Lead, motivate and develop the Project Delivery team through performance management processes
- Provide leadership at a senior level and negotiate issues and solutions across the division and internal and external stakeholders

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- PRINCE2 certification preferred with demonstrated experience in using contemporary project management methodologies in delivering best practice, customer focused ICT systems
- Excellent facilitation, negotiation and communication skills
- Understanding of information and intelligence functions relating to operational policing
- Understanding of corporate management policies and legislation around configuration management
- Proven experience in organisational change and benefits management
- Experience in project financial management and reporting
