Project Manager

An engineering and construction client has an immediate need for a Sr. Construction Manager (Cogeneration) to provide overall direction and management in a CM Agency role for a major Cogeneration project in the Washington, DC, area. This is a TEMP-to-PERM position. Local candidates preferred. No per diem is available for this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the design-build contractor, schedules, construction risks, submittals, RFIs, field and technical issues, estimates, and change orders
- Mobilize company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
- Promote technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processes

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Engineering or related technical / business field
- 15+ years design / construction with heavy mechanical / electrical experience specific to cogeneration projects
