Project Manager

Electrical power generation client is currently seeking a Project Manager at Harris Nuclear Plant in New Hill, NC. This is a 1 year CONTRACT position, with the possibility of extension. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Responsible for all phases of project initiation, planning, execution, and close out to ensure project success factors are met, including but not limited to scope, schedule, cost, quality, testing, ALARA, environmental, safety, and communications
- Initiate assigned projects in accordance with client's procedures including the establishment of baseline budgets and schedules
- Develop and maintain the project cost within the budgeted funds and assigned project schedules & achieving project milestones

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Engineering or Science related field from a 4-year college or university strongly preferred
- Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification preferred
- 10+ years experience in an engineering or technical related field and leadership role as a team member or manager of a project team is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the MS Office Suite, Indus / Passport, and EESY+
