Yoh has a career enhancing contract opportunity for an experienced PROJECT MANAGER to join our premiere client in Philadelphia, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively lead the activities of the team.
- Responsible for assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation, interfacing with all areas affected by the project including end users, distributors, and vendors.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- May communicate with a company executive regarding the status of specific projects.
- Execute project plan.
- Execute the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals.
- Communicate project plan.
- Ensure a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
- Implement the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.
- Establish project deliverables.
- Record detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (eg, planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
- Manage multiple sub-teams in a Matrix reporting model.
- Influence and control Matrix project team across multiple functional areas.
- Demonstrates thorough understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Manage changes to project scope.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitate customer acceptance.
- Monitor and control project work.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Six to ten (6 to 10) years Project Management experience. PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification is preferred.
- Successful candidates will also have to have formal Project Management skills and excel politically within large bureaucracies and take direction well. Large company/client experience in Healthcare, Financial or Pharmaceutical is preferred.
- Healthcare experience required, with Benefits and Group Level knowledge is highly preferred (the Benefits and Group clients are moving to a new platform).
- Knowledge of data mapping and Payer systems is preferred.
- Within Healthcare, experience in Front Office vs. Back Office is preferred.
