Project Manager

An engineering and construction client has an immediate need for 3 Project Managers to assist in the disaster recovery of the New York Veteran Affairs Medical Center (NY-VAMC), which was flooded and critically damaged by Hurricane Sandy in the New York, NY area. These are 4 month CONTRACT assignments. Local candidates preferred but per diem will be available for qualified candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist with building the Disaster Recovery Program, using industry best practices for both business continuity and disaster recovery / technology
- Utilize Microsoft Office Project Manager software to accomplish tracking
- Facilitate risk assessments to evaluate potential threats to business viability and associated risks

REQUIREMENTS

- BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a business field is preferred
- 5+ years of Project Management experience on healthcare facility projects is required
- Project Management or Disaster Recovery Certification is strongly desired
- Disaster Recovery Testing experience is a plus with proven ability to bring order from chaos
