Our Client, a Transportation Technology Supplier, has a broad portfolio of AFC/Ticketing projects and requires support of an Interim Project Manager to support the company for an initial 6 month contract.

As Project manager you will be responsible for project planning activities, maintenance of project documentation including issue and risk registers, lessons learned log, regular reports for internal and external audiences, invoicing forecast, financial control documentation and acceptance certificates. You will have regular liaisons with internal and external providers to monitor project progress, including scheduling and chairing and minuting of progress meetings as well as the management of the supplier contract during delivery.
Also you will assume responsibility for the overall management of design, construction and testing stages of projects, customer, commercial, technical, Financial and construction/installation management of a number of small projects.

We would like to hear from Interims who have a demonstrable success in similar small to medium projects, Prince 2 practitioner, and excellent written and verbal communications and self-motivated, ideally you will have managed UK rail projects with a focus in engineering or software development.

The assignment will be based in Surrey with regular travel to the various sites.
