Project Manager

A Fortune 500 energy company is currently seeking a Project Manager to develop estimates, schedules, and implementation plans for modifications to plant equipment at the Crystal River Nuclear Plant in Crystal River, FL. This project is scheduled to last 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Per diem and mobilization / demobilization will be available for qualified candidates. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate the multiple departments in completing modifications according to schedule using methods that are consistent with the highest standards of safety, quality, and reliability and in strict compliance with client procedures and processes
- Develop and maintain the project cost within the budgeted funds for the station
- Develop and maintain assigned project schedules and achieve project milestones
- Ensure necessary activities are properly integrated into the Site on-line and outage schedules
- Create, enforce and update detailed project management plans in coordination with client's Project Management Center of Excellence procedures and processes

REQUIREMENTS

- Possess 4 year Engineering degree from an accredited college
- 8+ years of directly related experience can be substituted for this requirement
- Experience managing project in a nuclear environment using nuclear quality programs
- PMI Certification preferred
- Experience with Plant systems, concepts and regulations
- Strong background in critical path management, scheduling and work management systems
