My client is a large government organization seeking a Project Manager (Application Development/Integration) to undertake project management activities using the Project Management Framework based on PRINCE2. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long contract with a large government organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Be responsible for end-to-end management of challenging Application Development/Integration initiatives including project initiation planning and project delivery
- Identifying business benefits and prepare business cases and budgets
- Create and update Project Plan, Stage Plan and manage the project and stage progress
- Consolidate and prepare reports to the Project Board
- Prepare the Risk Management Strategy and manage project risks and mitigation activities
- Prepare the Quality Management Strategy and manage the delivery of the products within the established quality specifications
- Liaise with Project Stakeholders to plan and coordinate activities between technical staff, system users, end user organizations, software programmers, system administrators, and other project stakeholders
- Understand and identify application integration points
- Participate in knowledge transfer to customer

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- At least 3 years experience managing Application Development/Integration projects
- At least 2 years experience managing projects using PRINCE2
- Sound knowledge of Business Analysis
- Microsoft Project experience is highly desirable
- Experience in delivering multiple projects concurrently in a customer/supplier environment
- Excellent communication and written skills essential
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Experience managing ICT vendors
- Need the ability to analyse customer requirements and translate them into innovative, value driven solutions

PRINCE2 Practitioner certification and formal Business Analysis training are MANDATORY.
