Projektbeschreibung
A global pharmaceutical client is currently embarking on a new project in Shanghai, China; and requires an experience Project Manager to oversee and lead the project.
The project is focusing on a high value new build of Laboratory buildings. These laboratories will be multi use, and will house around 250 research workers. The Project Manager will join at the initial Construction phase, and will complete all the stages leading up to Client Handover. This project is due to start end of 2012/early 2013, and will have an initial contract length of 3 years.
The individual that would be placed in this Project Manager position will have to have demonstrated strong management drive, and must have run at least 2 or 3 similar projects from start to handover; to reflect the specifics of this position.
Experience needed includes:
- Pharmaceutical laboratory construction - Bio, Chemical, containment types, etc.
- Full life cycle construction experience
- Experience of working in China, and working with local and international contractors and consultancies
- Language skills: English essential - Mandarin a bonus but no means essential
The position will also be suitable for Senior Project Managers, and Project Directors.
