Project Manager

IMMEDIATE NEED: for an Engineering Project Manager to provide overall engineering project management services, and serve as the owner's representative on capital projects from concept through commissioning and qualification. Need experience with vaccine manufacturing processes and bio-pharmaceutical facility design features for this 4-6+ month project assignment for a leading animal health provider in the NE Georgia area. Per diem and mob/de-mob will be provided to qualified candidates so APPLY NOW INTERVIEWS WILL BE SCHEDULED OVER THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Overall engineering project management services and serve as the owner's representative on capital projects from concept through commissioning and qualification
- Manage the execution of work for all assigned projects so as to maintain budget, schedule, safety record, and project quality.
- Engage AE support when required and lead development of detail design for all disciplines including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, and fire protection
- Develop design, construction, and equipment Request for Proposals and select qualified, best value bidders with proven safety records
- Close projects on schedule with completion of all deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

- BS degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, biomedical, etc...) plus 5+ years project management experience or related technical degree plus 10+ years project management experience
- Experience with one or more of the following bio-pharmaceutical facility design features: clean rooms, clean and dirty flow separation, HVAC systems downstream recovery and purification involving tangential cross-flow filtration, ultra filtration, and sterile filtration;aseptic formulation and high-speed vaccine filling, and final product labeling and packaging.
- Experience with cGMP compliance and related quality systems
- Exposure to Bio-reactor standards and Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
