Dublin City Centre - Contract, 6mnts+ - 380-400 Euros per day all inclusive - Start ASAP

Job background/context:
My client - a well established financial institution, have created a new Research and Development technology unit and are working on many new initiatives.
These include building a new corporate online platform to supply various services: Video streaming, Mobile Front End, visual analytics, as well as a corporate payments application. The platform will be used by the largest companies in the world, and so must be robust, scalable and look and function well.
While the team is located in Dublin, this job requires working within the context of a larger, distributed, team - with globally located colleagues. No travel is envisaged for this role, but is occasionally possible.
Job Purpose:
To manage a number of mobile development projects. the ideal project manager should have experience working in both water fall and agile environments. Experience managing .NET projects would be a great advantage. The PM should have a track record of leading teams who are building large scale, global, applications. The successful project manager will be working on Mobile applications for the international corporate market.
Key responsibilities:
- Candidate will become a member of a new development team.
- Large scope for influencing design and architecture.
- Prototype development.
- Work with the Application and Domain architects in design and product selection.
- Learn new technologies quickly.
- Develop in a rapid prototyping and agile environment.
Knowledge/experience:
- At least 10 years experience in development environment, including project management of development projects.
- Experience managing .NET or Java projects V this role will be managing .NET development, so this is preferred.
- Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with international scope.
- Experience of working in a Software as a Service environment would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of developing for mobile devices and HTML 5 is desirable but not required.

- Proven PM skills and approach
- Experience with waterfall and agile development
- Working knowledge of.NET, Web Services, Web Services, AJAX, Security, SOA, Design Patterns.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable skills:
- Experience with Banking and Cash management applications and process would be advantageous but non essential.
- Experience of mobile development would be advantageous.
