Role:

Director of Project Management reporting directly to the founder of the company, responsible for oversight of all project management activities.

This is a new role created due to the exceptional growth the firm has seen in recent years. Executive management has identified the need for a oversight in this area as "critical to the firms continued expansion"

You would be joining a tight knit team that has been in business for over 20 years with an top tier client list, profitable track record and extremely low turnover due to a employee focused culture.

Responsibilities:

- Planning and implementation of projects
- Definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Development of study monitoring plans
- Planning and management of staff resource requirements and allocation
- Management of the project budget throughout the duration of the project
- Planning and scheduling project timelines
- Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Effective communication of project expectations and processes to the project team and management of team members to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables
- Create an environment where Clinical Project Managers can successfully achieve career path goals.
- Development and implementation of processes and procedures to standardize all Project Management activities.
- Development and implementation of project metric standards, and tools to measure project metrics.

Skills required

- Proven experience in clinical project management, including management of people, risk, and change. Experience in strategic planning and leadership.
- Proven experience with line management of experienced staff.
- Excellent organizational skills. Flexibility with changing priorities. Detail oriented.
- Excellent leadership and collaborative skills, Must have successful experience collaborating across multifunctional teams.
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and their practical implementation.
- High level of creativity required, since this will be a new position in the company "thinking outside the box" will be essential.
- Familiar with project management software, e.g., MS Project.

Qualifications

- Nursing registration or licensure and/or 4-year degree, preferably in a scientific or health care discipline, or equivalent combination of education, clinical research certification, and/or experience.
- 6 or more years of successful Clinical Project Management experience, plus 4 or more years of successful Clinical Research Associate experience.
- Experience working in a CRO environment and/or vendor management of a CRO is a preferred.
- Familiarity with medical and pharmaceutical industry, and related terminology and practices.
