Project Management Analyst

SUMMARY:

- Plan, direct, or coordinate activities for any other non-IT based project.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate projects and activities, making and executing detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
- Represent the business systems user base to document system enhancements and issues.
- Analyze technology and resource needs to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- This role will work on the business team that manages the business requirements funnel for our web development efforts.
- It will work very closely with both the person using system/making requests and with the information services team that, using Agile methodologies, develops the web services and pages required to deliver that content.
- Will coordinate system testing of test scripts, test script creation, and execution of test scripts

SKILLS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor's degree in systems development, supply chain, industrial engineering, business, or other related field.
- Two or more years experience with previous project management experience required.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in running a procurement, production, or supply chain organization.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as MS Excel (including macros), MS PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of programming, Tableau reporting, and programming languages are major advantages.
- Energetic self-starter

DESIRED QUALITIES:

- System development experience (IT or business side)
- Programming experience (SAS or other)
- SQL/Database experience
