Project Leader Job

PROJECT LEADER II needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Cambridge, MA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Project Management:
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Plan and schedule project timelinesin particular track project milestones and deliverables.
- Identify, assess and manage risks, obstacles, changes, possible dependencies with other on-going initiatives then take the appropriate actions
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
- Determine and assess need for additional budget and/or staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
- Propose options and ensure decisions are taken timely (decision making and priority management)
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an on-going basis
- Regularly report on project progression to the appropriate audiences and within the appropriate tools ; guarantee quality data in project management systems
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Project team leadership:
- Direct and manage project execution from beginning to end
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team members
- Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Facilitate and coordinate teamwork, rally support for project goals
- Manage relationships within the project team and within the project's environment
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

- Four (4) year college degree and six (6+) years of professional relevant experience.
