Project Leader
Acts as a business advisor to IT and Functional Senior Management (primarily within the EMEA Region) regarding the evaluation and/or feasibility/desirability of concepts and/or projects.
Job responsibilities
Projects would be 'top tier' divisional/global IT projects typically involving:
Innovative technologies, across multiple systems
Duration typically 6 months - 2 years
VP level Stakeholders, high level steering committees
Multiple priorities & often conflicting interests or deadlines
Project budgets
Project Teams typically from one or more functional groups, involving subject matter experts, 10 +
Major product/process/governance initiatives:
global lead E-commerce solution
Vendor selection
IT project prioritisation (demand v supply)
Annual capital planning & reporting
Resource allocation tracking & planning
Skills and Knowledge Matrix
Good knowledge of EMEA IT vendor capabilities and selection criteria with experience of managing performance against the service level agreement
Excellent general understanding of the computer/IT. environment including current and emerging trends relating to the business application of software and automation, IT regulatory requirements
Degree/professional certification in Business Studies, Computer Science or a relevant related discipline
Fluent in English
