JOB DESCRIPTION

- This role will provide project leadership for POS releases used by a number of restaurants.
- Working with the various functional and release teams within US IT, US ORT, IT Foundations and others, this individual will ensure the successful, on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery of store systems releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Primary responsibilities include serving as project leader for store systems releases and leading development project deliverables.
- At times it will be part Project Manager and part Business Analyst.
- Development, execution and monitoring of project management plans for small to medium size project deliverables for Store Systems releases
- Status reporting and communication to stakeholders
- Effective meeting facilitation
- Continuous improvement of the development process and project management processes
- Business Analysis including analysis write-ups, meeting facilitation and documentation to obtain approvals from stakeholders
- Will be a mix of BA and PM work
- Facilitate meetings
- Work with stakeholders, document requirements, change requests
- Not a technical role but would need to be able to communicate with IT department
- Communication, documentation and detail orientated are most important for this role

SKILLS:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

- 5+ years of total experience
- 3 years of PM experience ideal, does not have to be heavy PM experience but needs the leadership abilities, would look at BA lead or Sr. BA
- Experience with POS would be a plus but not required.
- The successful candidate has mix of project management and business analysis skills and thrives in a dynamic environment working on multiple initiatives with competing priorities.
- This person also enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and assists the business and IT team resources to meet key milestone dates.
- A results-oriented mindset with a can do attitude are required.
- This individual must be able to provide strong project management discipline in an environment of change and high-profile projects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent related experience and/or PMP certification
- Strong business analysis and documentation skills
- Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle and methodologies
- Proven application of project management principles and processes
- Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Advanced skills in building and sustaining individual and team relationships
- Advanced skills in project management disciplines including project and resource planning, change management, risk and issue management, project reporting including project financials.
- Adapts readily and leads project teams effectively through changing priorities
- Achieves alignment among stakeholders and exhibits a strong level of decisiveness in a timely manner
