Our Financial Services client has an opportunity for a Project Finance Analyst to work within a PMO team. This contract would be for an initial 6 months and would be based in Edinburgh.

This role requires an Analyst with excellent financial analysis and forecasting skills who can work with various teams within the business to report on costs, trends, budget and forecast, be involved in strategy & planning. Experience in a PMO team and any previous experience as a PMO analyst role would be extremely beneficial.

You will be required to:
Supports activities to collate, prepare and update resourcing and financial data.
Prepare all programme/project financials monthly using standard finance templates
Accurately track & update Business actual costs, resource and non-resource forecasts
Ensure Business Costs are accurately recharged to Projects within the agreed timescales
Review IT and Business resource actual costs and highlight discrepancies
Review POs to ensure correct phasing and cost tracking
This person will be involved in key projects within the business and must be able to produce timely, accurate reports, cost analysis and work to tight deadlines.
