Project Engineering Manger

My client is looking to take on a Project Engineering Manager for a minimum period of 12 months to work on a project implementing and improving factory process control systems.

The PE will implement approved projects involving the engineering, construction, commissioning, handover and completion of manufacturing processes. The projects will be delivered to agreed budgetary targets and timescales, which will be demonstrated by progress reporting throughout the project life cycle. The PE will also provide support and advise to teams where appropriate, in regards to supply chain improvements.

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified, preferably in Mechanical, Chemical or Control & Automation Engineering. Experience of the full project life cycle with regards to planning, budgeting, change management, progress reporting, tendering, procurement, vendor management, commissioning, handover and project closure.

The candidate will also be competent in communicating and adding value to multiple teams as well as reporting to board level.

Innovative in understanding and improving the manufacturing process, and first hand knowledge of modern batch management systems and integrated SCADA/process control and how they add value.

Experience of HSE procedures.

Be able to work in a high pressured manufacturing environment and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
