Project Engineer - Systems Design and Build - UK SC - Permanent

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join a leading high technology company supplying electronic systems into the defence sector based in Hampshire.

As a successful Project Engineer you will work on multiple projects and be responsible for system design and build. You will be involved in both UK and international travel from time to time to meet key stakeholders and external customers to set up equipment and put them together at customer site.

The nature of these projects will be military, offshore oil and gas or coastal surveillance based.

As such, you must be eligible to gain UK Security Clearance (i.e. you must be a British national and be born in the UK).

Requirements:

* Minimum qualification of HND in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent
* Electrical and/ or Electronics Engineering skills
* Understanding of Basic IT Network structures
* Systems Design and Build experience
* Knowledge of radar and/or radio communication and RF
* Customer facing experience
* Experience of full project lifeycle management

Salary will depend upon level of experience £30,000 - £35,000 per annum and excellent benefits package including bonus
