Project Engineer - Peterborough - Luton - 6 Month Contract

PROJECT ENGINEER - PETERBOROUGH - LUTON - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - START ASAP - RAIL

General Description:
To manage the engineering scope and vehicle projects, ensuring delivery of a safe and technically compliant product in line with local processes and procedures within the QCD targets.

Responsibilities are -
Reports operationally to the Project Manager and functionally to the Project Engineering Manager Interfaces with Project Manager and assists in generation, production and update of project engineering plans Manages the DFQ implementation to obtain a GO status in accordance with the project planned dates.

Education Requirements/Person Specification:
History of managing multi disciplined Engineering tasks within budget and time constraints Refurbishment of rail vehicle interiors (Essential) Knowledge and understanding of railway standards and approvals Use and application of PC based project planning tools eg Microsoft Project etc.

Minimum HND in a mechanical discipline
