Project Engineer - Electrical - Perth

- Major HV Substation build Project
- Australian Consultancy - Power Systems
- $100 per hour - Perth based role - 3 month contract

CANDIDATE:
You are a qualified Electrical Engineer or you have a trade qualification with an understanding and exposure to HV Electrical Engineering. You want to take on a position of responsibility working on High Voltage Electrical Transmission Projects from 132kV to 500kv.

POSITION:
Reporting directly to the Project Manager your HV electrical transmission experience and knowledge will be held in high regard. You will be involved in the design phase of the projects, procurement and the expediting of major items of plant, ensuring workplace health and safety and quality assurance are implemented and adhered to, preparation of the construction plan and be the key contact for all Electrical Works. You will ensure that all resources are used appropriately and all aspects or your role are carried out to the highest level to ensure that delivery is on time and on budget.

QUALIFICATIONS:
You will have formal electrical qualifications along with hands on experience in a similar role. You will also need to be competent with procurement, purchasing, document control, MS Project, design and onsite troubleshooting relating to HV electrical transmission substations.
