Job Role of the Project Engineer
To provide technical, engineering and project support to manufacturing operations through the support and execution of capital projects and by providing a technical resource for the processing and packaging of the company product.

Principal duties and responsibilities of the Project Engineer
Development and implementation of capital projects
Provide work direction to project teams and allied support groups
Perform engineering activities in support of design and construction of capital projects
Perform complex engineering tasks in the development and implementation of equipment installations, process improvement, and facility, utility, and maintenance related projects.

Select equipment, prepare specifications, assemble design documentation, procure equipment, and coordinate installation and start-up activities for systems and equipment
Recommend equipment purchases or modifications to improve plant productivity.

Significant experience in a fast-moving, technical manufacturing setting directly related to high-speed, volume manufacturing and packaging
Established understanding of engineering theoretical fundamentals of equipment operation
Hands-on knowledge of production operations and associated control systems
Demonstrable experience with quality systems in a highly regulated environment
Capital project management experience strongly preferred.
Well-developed analytical skills including the ability to develop sound economic analyses with prudent financial judgment.
