Project Engineer BIW- West Midlands
Amoria Bond are looking for a Project Engineer initially on a 6 month contract basis.
Our client is a large automotive manufacturer based in the West Midlands.

The successful Project Engineer will have a number of years of automotive experience at a large OEM or Tier 1 supplier, specialising in BIW.

The successful Project Engineer will be working on the BIW of a new vehicle taking it right from design through to Launch. The successful Project Engineer will be responsible for liaising with the designers and the build support engineers in the manufacturing facility.

It is important the successful Project Engineer has a good understanding of BIW parts for a the full vehicle.

The successful project Engineer will be taking on PMST responsibilities such as holding customer meetings, managing the time scale of projects, interrogating design and co-ordinating with the purchasing department.

The contracts are initially 6 months but are likely to be extended depending upon performance and workload. My client has at least another 2 years of work available and is looking for people who want a long term contract.

The agreed rate per hour is negotiable and Dependent on level of experience.
