Project Engineer

JOB TITLE: PROJECT ENGINEER

LOCATION: PORTS DOWN WEST, HAMPSHIRE

CONTRACT: 24 MONTHS (2 YEARS)

RATE: UPTO £500 PER DAY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Pyramid - CMADS Lead Deputy role:

- Review of industry technical outputs, including review coordination within Client and wider stakeholders;
- Manage external stakeholder technical reviews;
- Support to Clients OMI WG Chair role - track actions, coordinate team attendance, prepare Clients inputs;
- Support to Clients assessment team - organize assessments, both internal Clients MA and external operators.
- Proactive management of project risks and escalating emerging risks to the Clients task lead

Autonomy and Mission Systems Project:

- Support to strategy development and exploitation planning;
- Support to STRATUS technical planning and delivery;
- Coordinate Clients project outputs (Clients generated customer outputs);
- General support to Project Technical Authority-monthly reporting;
- Manage monthly technical meetings
- Technical coordination across the team including information management

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

To successfully support the role, the ideally the CTW would have the following experience

- Working in cross-discipline civilian/military team.
- Working on military systems.
- Setting and evaluating mission system requirements.
- Awareness of current UAS operational employment.
- Knowledge of defence contractors and the defence market Technical Knowledge.
- Military application of automation and decision support technologies.
- Operator-System Interaction requirements.
- Development and analysis of UAS operational vignettes and use-case to support technology requirements definition.
- Development and execution of assessment protocol for operator-in-the-loop system evaluation.
