Project Engineer

Your Challenge:
To assist the business in ensuring the maximum productivity, efficiency and quality of the Microwave Installation Teams during the delivery of a high profile project; coordinating staff and their associated work packages and leading on technical problem solving onsite.

Your Role:
You will take volume client installation instructions from the Project Manager and/or the Master Scheduler and manage Installations Teams to meet SLAs in the most cost effective, timely manner.
You will undertake line management of your own Installation Team and be accountable for the planning and forecasting of workforce requirements and for the effective coordination of resources.
You will be responsible for ensuring that installations are carried out to a high standard and in alignment with the customer's specifications.
You will be responsible for resolving any technical difficulties facing the Installations Teams on site, liaising with the client when required.
You will ensure the high quality of handover packs provided by the Installation Teams, resolving any residuals efficiently & effectively.
You will be responsible for ensuring that teams have the minimum van stock and all tools required, coordinating with stores and logistics for kit and consumable material deliveries as needed.
You will ensure that all team members' H&S documentation and certification is up to date.
You will own the monitoring of workforce productivity and task completion rates and report progress to the Project Manager and Master Scheduler.
You will liaise with other Project Engineers to share knowledge and lessons learned - working closely to ensure all installation teams follow the same objectives
- If considered necessary, checks against the criminal and security records of relevant foreign countries.
