OUTSOURCE UK LTD is actively seeking to recruit a Project Engineer for a contract role on behalf of a client.

THE CLIENT:

A leading Engineering and Defence organisation

THE JOB:

The purpose of the Project Engineer role is to be responsible for the benchmarking and validation of various products under the munitions product portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

The successful Project Engineer candidate will be responsible for the following:

Co-ordinating the building of samples to support benchmarking and validation activities
Data collection from samples taken
Analysis of data
Technical Support at supplier manufacturing sites
Lead and support Technical Investigations
Generation of technical reports
Liaise with internal and external customers
Presentation of data to internal and external customers

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & KNOWLEDGE

Degree (Hons) or BTEC (HND/HNC) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
A good understanding of project/risk management and the ability to use associated tools and techniques
Must be fully computer literate
