A leading international EPC currently have a requirement for a Project Engineer with strong Offshore Hook-Up experience to join their team in Central London.

Purpose/Role

Accountable for accurate and consistent preparation and execution of the project workscope, adherence to the selected Procedures and Plans in accordance with the project schedule.
Liaise with the Engineering Manager and Planning Engineer in developing an integrated project plan with design & procurement deliverables servicing the construction method and sequence.
Liaison with the design team to ensure constructability input is built into the design and that the detail design is Hook-Up friendly.

Key aims and objectives

To play an active role in ensuring that all project HSE goals are achieved and where possible exceeded.
To process safe completion of designated 'areas', sub-systems and systems in line with the project schedule/milestones in a consistent and timely manner.
To assist in maintenance of the project budget through dillegence and utilisation of efficient and working practices.

Prime responsibilities and duties

Provide input into the selection of the most appropriate build method and the build sequence for the offshore Hook-Up scope of work.
Liaise with thedesign Engineers to retrieive Information to develop the Hook-up scoipe of work.
Liaison with the HHI fabrication engineering office through the BP Site team contact to ensure that fabrication drawings are produced in line with the Hook-Up requirements for all disciplines.
Assist in ensuring the availability of 'work packs' in line with project procedures, schedule and milestones.
Adherence to all applicable site/project safety procedures.
Active participation in all company and project safety initiatives.
Develop Project Specific Procedures as required.
Liase directly with the BP team point of contact in the HHI Fabrication Yard in Ulsan to retrieve information as required for the development of the Work Packs and Job Cards for the Hook-Up scope of work.
