Project Engineer

Progressive Global Energy has been tasked with sourcing for a worldwide industry leader in oil and gas handling equipment, operations and services. They are on the search for a Project Engineer to join their compressor group located in Houston.

Responsibilities for the role include but not limited to:

* Interact with designers, project manager, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to insure projects are delivered on time and meet requirements.
* Attend meetings weekly to ensure engineering work is completed accurately and provide updates on the project scheduling
* Perform engineer calculations/check designs to ensure they meet customer specifications
* Develops BOM
* Develops ASME code, flow diagrams, and lifting lug calculations

Requirements:

* Mechanical Engineering degree
* Compression background with exposure to projects
* 3-5 years relevant experience
* Strong communication skills
* Strong mechanical engineering skills (fluid & thermodynamics, heath transfer, machine design, ect?)
* Candidates must be legally authorized to work in theU.S.
