Project Engineer

Degreed Project Engineer with Waste Water / Water Treatment experience. You will serve as a consultant to and the Operations and Maintenance staff, coordinate O economic analyses of alternate schemes; designs; plans; and specifications. Review reports; plans; and specifications prepared by outside consultants
- Provide plant design; facility modifications and upgrades; process control improvements and coordinate operation; maintenance; and construction activities to ensure optimum plant performance and compliance with water quality objectives
- Prepare routine process performance reports documenting treatment performance; plant production and treatment costs

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college / university in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering
- 4-6+ years experience coordinating operation and maintenance engineering projects for water and wastewater treatment facilities or water utility
- Detailed knowledge of the principals, practices, operation, equipment, and associated instrumentation of water / wastewater treatment processes including reverse osmosis and microfiltration systems
- Membrane treatment experience strongly preferred
- California Professional Engineering License (PE) is preferred
- Water Treatment Certification, T2 or higher preferred
