Project Engineer

IMMEDIATE NEED.....Client is looking for an Electrical/Controls Project Engineer for a 12-36 month contract assignment in the Hancocks Bridge, NJ area. You need a BSEE degree and at least 10 years of electrical & controls system design & project experience for Nuclear Power Plants. Client will provide a per diem for candidates that are not local.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage projects from conceptual design, specifications thru process of supporting architectural form, developing mods to install in our plant and see thru installation, develop test plant, turn over to ops
- Developing electrical & controls engineering design change packages in support of maintenance or capital projects at nuclear power facilities
- Be a Project Engineer with little oversight on multiple electrical & controls design capital projects
- Perform advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations
- You will work on a variety of projects to include: Plant Computer Replacement, Main Power Transformer, Communications, Radiation Monitoring, etc

REQUIREMENTS

- BSEE degree
- 10+ years of electrical & controls engineering design experience for Nuclear Power Plants, with most recent experience within the past 5 years
- You must have a solid background in Electrical and I&C Engineering in the Nuclear Power Industry
