Project Director

A major bank in Downtown Boston is adding a Project Director to their Alternative Investments Group. The position is a 6 Month contract that will be constantly extended, as the group has many projects already on the horizon. The team that this person will join focuses primarily on Hedge Fund, Private Equity, and Real Estate business lines. This person will be working directly with senior managers including EVP's and SVP's on a regular basis.

Role: Senior Project Director

Duration: 6 Months (continual extensions likely)

Location:Boston,MA(remote work not an option)

Group: Alternative Investments - Specifically Hedge Fund, Private Equity, and Real Estate.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Business Facing (not IT)
- Establish Project Plans
- Determine Baseline Project Approach
- Solution Development (not technical)
- Maintain Project Process
- Manage SME's
- Work Cross-Functionally

Skills and Experience:

- Familiarity with Sharepoint
- Experience running large projects or programs
- Experience interacting with senior managers (EVP, SVP, etc.)
- Experience with Financial Services a big plus
- Experience in Alternative Investments a huge plus
- Hedge Fund, Private Equity, or Real Estate experience a plus
