ROLE:
Responsible for the support of delivering Projects within a large Program of work providing complex solutions across the infrastructure and communications space.
This role is to provide Transition and Transformation Office (TTO) support to the Project Manager and/or Program Manager. There may be a requirement to interact with or deal with Subject Matter Experts and other staff across the business unit and other business areas associated with the customer delivery.
The role is a support role to support Project and Program managers and will be responsible for tracking project/program costs, coordinate resources, reporting, maintaining project documentation, and project schedules, assisting with making updates to project and/or program status reports, TTO governance across customer projects and maintaining issues and risks logs.
This role will suit people who can be customer outcome orientated deal within a complete outsourced service model and be a team player supporting delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Provide TTO/PMO support to the Project Manager and/or Program Manager.
* Coordinate where requested resource management including management pipeline, project utilisation and resource availability
* Apply the Transition Methodology standards for project control, including reporting; change management; review and archiving of project documentation; and conduct of Post-Implementation Review.
* Plan, schedule, monitor and report on the status of milestones and all key elements of the program.
* Monitor project/program progress and costs, identify and highlight to the project/program manager areas outside plan and identify improvements in project outcomes or approach
* Support the Project/Program Manager to initiate or undertake meetings with key stakeholders within NAS and beyond including customers, service delivery management, sales and other stakeholders to inform of program status, risks & issues, and to obtain direction where necessary.
* Identify scope and manage any changes to initial program specifications, and report change impact to stakeholders.
* Maintenance of risk and issues logs, budget, resources and requirements, and ensure relevant stakeholders are aware of status
* Apply national standards, project management methodology and tools, and in particular, ensure accurate recording timesheets and other billable resources to eliminate revenue leakage.
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES/SKILLS:
* 3-5 years of Project Coordination experience
* Exposure or experience in service delivery.
* Knowledge and/or understanding of commercial, technical and legal issues.
* Experience or exposure working on Transition and Transformation projects (highly desirable).
* Experience or exposure working on Transition In of services end to end - Infrastructure and supporting Service Management activities.
*. Experience in project management within a telecommunications, media or large, complex companies (desirable)
* Exception communication both written and verbal is mandatory.
