Support the Sustainability and Renewal Manager and PMs in ensuring that projects are governed and managed according to best PM practice and agreed methodology and ensure that the PMs of individual projects produce and maintain PM documents such as: project plans/risk registers/highlight reports, cash flow projections/spend projections against budget. Report to Programme Board
Ensure governance. Support to procurement - for example the procurement of architects and cost consultants. Monitor the quality and timeliness of the project milestones.
Support the distribution, storage and retention of project related reports and other documents and other deliverables and perform ad-hoc process assessments on all projects on or after key milestones have been achieved. Communicate best practices.
Supervise the collation, analysis, evaluation, presentation and publication of comprehensive demographic and socio economic data. Prepare briefings, reports, consultation responses, project proposals and bids for senior management - General Duties. Represent the Council and DRES at all necessary meetings.
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject and 3 years experience of working at a middle management level on project or programme management OR 5 years experience of working on project or programme management at a middle management level. Qualification in PRINCE2 or equivalent project management qualification. Two years Programme Management Experience.
