PROJECT COORDINATOR (ERP)

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Coordinator to join a world renowned Pharmaceutical company in support of their MMDS department. Based in Basel, my client requires an English-speaking candidate with an in-depth knowledge of Project Management/Coordination. YOUR ROLE:

- Assist in driving various complex projects under direct supervision of project and program manager(s)
- Support the development of project status reports
- Develop and maintain project document repositories, including team charter, contact lists and distribution lists (calendar and e-mail), agendas, minutes, RAID&C log (Risk, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Change Log), milestones and deliverables
- Ensure project calendars are current and appropriately available/distributed
- Works with department administrative staff to organize meetings and workshops
- Document and follow up on action item status to ensure timely completion
- Draft presentations for project status reviews
- Plan, coordinate and monitor activities of assigned projects to develop and implement procedures, processes and systems
- Reflect changes in work scope, time lines or deliverables in the project plan
- Take appropriate planning measures with all Work Stream Leads to reassess, renegotiate and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts and budgets

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:

EXPERIENCE: Project coordination and/or project management - 5-7 years in one function
CERTIFICATE: From a technical or business institute (eg Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Applied Psychology, Supply Chain/Logistics) or other recognized professional qualification
COMMUNICATION: Frequent contacts with average difficulty
SELF-RELIANCE: sets some of his/her own goals and tasks after discussions with superior
COMPLEXITY MANAGEMENT: diverse range of task to solve more challenging problems
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT: up to 10 project team members under his/her supervision & guidance
RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Very small expenditures and/or performance of very small operations (CHF 40'000)
RESULT ORIENTATION: Moderate effects on several departments or interests
LANGUAGES: Fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in English
MOBILITY: Ability to travel up to 20%

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:

- Experience in Clinical Supply Chain processes
- Experience in OE (process mapping etc.)
- Pharma Knowledge
- German will be considered as an asset
- PMI CAPM certification or equivalent

GENERAL INFORMATION:

- Start date: 03.09.2018
- Latest start date: 24.09.2018 (earlier preferred)
- End date: 31.12.2019
- Extension: An extension is currently not planned.
- Work location: Kaiseraugst
- Workload: 100%
- Remote/Home Office: possible, max 1 day per week
- Travelling: Travelling up to 20% possible to SSF (not clear yet).
- Department: MMDS (non-IT, Clinical Demand & Supply Planning)
