SCOPE OF PROJECT:

As a result of the Medi-Cal expansion into new Medi-Cal Managed Care counties there is a need to develop and implement a Medi-Cal Training Program. This program will provide a broad spectrum of Medi-Cal related training topics and modules for the expansion counties as well as to provide on-going Medi-Cal training.

STAGE OF PROJECT:

Initial work completed, additional research and development of topics to be accomplished

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Development and implementation of the Medi-Cal Training Program necessitates hiring a durational employee to project manage and assist in the development of training modules, surveys and communications; identify service area contacts; and facilitate/coordinate other tasks as identified.

TOP DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, development of topics, identify service area contacts, develop training surveys, questionnaires

SIZE OF TEAM: 15

TRAVEL: 5% of the time

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 7 years' relevant experience
- Experience in project management and in development, implementation and facilitation of a training program
- Ability to research; analytical skills
- Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
