For our client in BASEL we are looking for an PROJECT COORDINATOR (60-100%) for a 24-MONTH contract.
Duration: 15/09/2018 to 15/09/2020 - 2 years
Location: Basel
WORKLOAD: 60-100%
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Provide business support to Line Function Head Global Analytical Stewardship Cell & Gene Therapy. Monitor the departmental development activities for the assigned project(s). Facilitate regular Board and Section meetings, issue written minutes, and follow up on action items. Maintain overall action item dashboard, schedule, budget, and routine reports to sponsors and stakeholders.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
. Support Line Function Head in preparation and facilitation of cross functional team meetings, inclusive of action follow up and follow through.
. Draft meeting minutes and arrange review and finalization
. Review scientific reports for data consistency
. Support in forecasting, managing against, and reporting actuals against assigned budget on a routine basis
. Facilitate monthly highlights/business reports
. Lead travel planning for the department and keep information up to date and accessible
. Generate expense reports
. Assist on boarding activities and similar departmental needs
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: minimum of BS in Biochemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or other Life Science-related field.
EXPERIENCE/PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
.5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical industry or equivalent
. 1+ years of Project management or change management experience
. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, focused with business awareness and hands on to navigate execution in a highly matrixed environment
Other Competencies:
. Fluency in English is required, German highly desirable
. Excellent communication skills
. Full fluency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
. Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment
. Positive, service-minded, flexible, and possessing strong interpersonal skills
