Project Coordinator

The contract is with a consultancy to be on an assignment to a large European site situated in Den Haag Netherlands.

The client is seeking a Project Coordinator as follows:

Tasks to be performed
The consultant will perform the following tasks/services as a member of the project management team:

. Coordinating the execution of projects in accordance with project governance standards and project management methodology (adapted from Prince 2);
. Ensuring that all relevant project management documentation is in place at any given time. This includes participating directly in the production of project management deliverables;
. Coordinating the production and approval of project deliverables, at the specified quality level and in accordance with the project implementation plan;
. manage the required approval processes with the governance bodies
. ensuring the project implementation in accordance with the socpe specified in the project implementation documentation
. identlfying and proactively addressing all dependencies, issues and risks affecting the project;
. keep overview and control of the budget available to the project and undertake the necessary financial procedures, including reporting;
. coordinating the different project work streams and manage dependencies
. supervising the delivery of products and services by external suppliers.

Mandatory: Good working knowledge of English

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Mandatory:

. min 4 years exp with structured project management methodologies in projects that include both custom and COTS scenarios
. min 3 years exp in dealing with multiple sourcing models including externalised software development and internal testing and quality assurance
. project management exp in an international environment
. exp of work in a highly regulated public/government environment

PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

Mandatory: Training and certification on project management methodologies (eg Prince 2);
Mandatory: Exp on projects with external vendors where vendor/contract management was a key success factor
Mandatory: Knowledge of planning and estimation techniques

Desirable:
Exp on projects relating to systems integration;
Knowledge of data protection rules
Knowledge of data migration concepts and strategies
Excellent business English writing skills
