Project Coordinator

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain and further develop the project schedule using Microsoft Project to ensure sufficient task detail and dependencies across all project phases with input across multiple Business areas. Includes updating the schedule with current task progress on a weekly basis and escalating task slippage and downstream impacts as required
- Maintain the current project risks and issues register including addition of new items to the register, updates in relation to the progress of mitigation plans and closure of items as determined by the relevant forum. Also includes running workshops to review open items as needed and requires analysis to determine the relevance and appropriateness of proposed updates. A key responsibility is ensuring all new items raised have been critically reviewed with respect to the integrity and validity of the risk (including severity, impacts, etc.) and the mitigation detailed
- Compile and distribute project status reports on a weekly basis and assist in the creation of additional project reporting (eg. management/board/regulator reporting) as required
- Manage the administration of key forums (eg. the project Working Committee) including scheduling of meetings and compilation and distribution of agendas and minutes
- Administrate project scope changes and business change management monitoring using established processes and registers
- Provide additional support to the project management team as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

- Previous tertiary qualifications
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, including Project and Excel
- Competent and confident in project planning/scheduling activities with a strong ability to analyse tasks and determine dependencies
- Strong risk-based mentality with a focus on anticipating project pain points and assessing whether proposed risk mitigation is appropriate and comprehensive
- Robust understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project management principles
- Committed to actively ensuring project compliance with all audit requirements
