Project Controls Engineer - PLANNER
Contract; 6 months
Location; Portsmouth
Rate; £31.00ph Ltd

Working for an established company the ideal applicant will be required to carry out a range of activities to support the project.

This will include:

*Manage and administrate the project's process, ensuring an appropriate audit trail is maintained and that it meets the necessary approval and quality standards
*Provide support to the monthly review process, supporting the associated reviews and monitoring proposed movements
*Provide support to the maintenance and communication of the Project Controls Reporting Cycle, ensuring all relevant stakeholders are aware of the process and requirements/expectations
*Provide support to facilitating the Risk
*Provide support to the coverage of management plans and process instructions across the project, including the development of a Project Management Plan and Project Controls Process Instructions

Skills/Experience required:

*NVQ or equivalent. APMP would be desirable
*Proficiently use appropriate MS Office packages.
*Project Controls & Management Awareness
*Experience in retrieving, recording and presenting project information
*Experience in project documentation in line with project needs and relevant procedures
*Experience in supporting the development of project cost estimates
*Experience in apply business procedures, methods and systems
*Experience in monitoring project progress, including risk & opportunities
*Experience in identifying and expedite project actions
