Project/Change Manager with Industrial tech plc Background

For our intrenational client from the automotive industry we are currently looking for a Change Manager with industrial technical plc background.

START DATE: JAN. 2013

END DATE: EARLIEST OCT. 2015

CAPACITY: Fulltime,

LOCATION: BRUSSELS

WORKING HOURS: normal office hours, Mon. - Fr.

Sometimes: Weekend + Launch support starting 6:00 am.

Languages: English is required, French or Dutch is required, German is a plus

Job description
Focus is on Shopfloor components

SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION IN BODY SHOP AND PAINT SHOP

- Coordinate the implementation of Shopfloor components and replace MONA functionality
- Care that all existing MONA functionalities are covered by the new systems
- Care for test cases and coordinate tests for a failure free implementation

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY

- Release management

o Coordinate release changes
- Change management

o Coordinate changes in the system
- Requirement management

o Collect the requirements from the business and coordinate the integration into the software

SERVICE OWNER

- Incident Management

o Follow up critical incidents
- Problem management

o Detect problems and care for the solution

MAIN SKILLS

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Stress resistant (Production Environment).
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Proactive minded.
- Proven ability to be flexible and to work both, independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
- Excellent communication/written skills.
- Experience in the implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
- Experience in industrial environment.
- Written/Spoken Language: English is required, French or Dutch is required, German is a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Experience in Application Support in industrial environment (PLC, Scanner, Industrial PCs, ...)
- Experience supporting SQL Database (DB2 and/or SQL server is a plus)
- Basic Programming/Scripting knowledge (Java, C#, Perl). Experience in web delopment is a plus.
- General knowledge and experience with XML & related technologies (XSD, XSLT, Web Services, ..)
- Basic knowledge about Unix/Aix Shell and Scripting command
- Basic Network knowledge (TCP/IP)
- Reporting tool knowledge is a plus.
