Project Buyer (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Preparation and management of supplier discussions and purchasing negotiations with regard to price, quality, deadline and quantity for production material
- Organizing the selection, qualification and monitoring of suppliers in Germany and abroad, taking into account quality and environmental aspects
- Supplier management, development and evaluation, support and supervision of technical communication between construction and suppliers
- Preparation and regular adjustment of forecasts based on the current order situation
- Negotiation of framework agreements over the term of several years to secure the total quantities required for individual projects
- Master data maintenance (both article and supplier master) and Generating savings
- Keeping statistics/evaluations on the procurement process, obtaining quotations and preparing bid comparisons
- Regularly reviewing payment and delivery terms and obtaining improvements in this sector
- Supporting the processing of intercompany orders (USA); calculation of UK prices
- Creation of order related purchase orders using ERP supported purchase order proposals
- Processing order confirmations and sending reminders for missing order confirmations and overdue deliveries
- Deadline tracking for critical orders to supply production and meet delivery deadlines
- Complaints processing in close coordination with quality assurance

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Master Degree in purchasing or engineering
- Well-founded experience in purchasing area
- Having adaptability on multicultural and cross-departmental relations and team spirits
- Fluency in foreign language(s) business level: German and English mandatory
- Strong negotiator
- Strong organizational skills and prioritize tasks to meet department objectives with timely manner.
- Complete multiple activities concurrently
- Application of Quality Standards
- Knowledge and respect of internal deliverables for his/her function and customer specific requirements (I.E. CSR, Customer Specific Requirement) for his/her projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with other functional areas and suppliers
- Understand products development (project/program) process
- Having innovation and openness to change
- Understand of his activity impact on quality (components and services), and understand the risks linked to non-conformity of PO delivered components
