Project Analyst

Montreal Associates recherche pour le compte de son client un Project Analyst, pour une mission d'1ans base a Paris.

POSITION SUMMARY

- The primary function of this role is to analyse and capture existing/business processes, procedures and requirements as part of the Test life cycle.
- This will involve understanding of the business and technical aspects of LCH.Clearnet clearing, settlement and - especially - Cash and Derivatives management processes and systems. The individual will work closely with IT and potentially with Operation, Risk Analysts and Managers and other business stakeholders.
- Helps prepare Test cases/test scripts and plays a primary support role in the functional and regression testing of the application along with the Offshore Testing team
- Develops relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
- Interacts with the client IT and business stakeholders, presents the high level solution and blueprint
- Participates in Test design discussion with customer teams.
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.Clearnet project management.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
- Manages client expectations effectively
- Exhibits confidence and knowledge of industry practices when solving problems

FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL SKILLS

- Business knowledge of working in IT area preferably for Clearing and Settlement organizations as an Analyst or Consultant
- Experience of producing Test scripts, Test scenarios co-ordinating and executing tests
- Knowledge of Quality Centre
- At least 3 year experience in creating functional business requirements
- At least 2 year experience in developing deliverables defined by formal/structured methodology
- At least 2 year experience in Financial/Banking organizations
- Should have experience as for medium IT program preferably in the areas of Testing and ADM (Application Development and Maintenance)
- Should have an ability to work in MS Office tools preferably MS Project planning

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (asterisked competencies indicate critical success factors)

- Solid experience as Business Analyst or Business Consultant for large IT programs in a Financial/banking organization, preferably from investment banking*
- Experience of the full application test life cycle
- Able to quickly learn on the customer oriented processes and tools
- Scheduling meetings, publishing Minutes of Meetings and publishing and following up on the action plans

DELIVERABLES

- Reviewing Test artefacts (test case, test scenarios ) and provide inputs for improvement as appropriate
- Organizing various meetings with the stakeholders (Customers, Internal Teams)
- Creating reports, minutes of meetings

- Experience working in an onshore/offshore model
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrates problem solving skills and Excellent analytical skill, able to understand details without losing the overall picture*
- Good organisational skills and demonstrates the ability to work within and adhere to tight deadlines.
