PROJECT ACCOUNTANT role forFTSE100 INSURANCEcompany based inBRISTOL.This is a 3-6 MONTH CONTRACT, paying up to £500 a day.

As a Project Accountant, you will be reporting directly into the Head of Financial Reporting and will help implemen a new system. The ideal candidate should have experience of: Change Management: experienced in managing change within a business unit, and in defining/re- engineering existing and new processes, Data mapping: experience of dealing with large volumes of data & mapping it between finance systems, Testing: determining and documenting a test strategy and experience of end to end testing.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting system based changes to financial reporting processes, have financial services (preferably Insurance industry and accounting experience).

In addition to this the following skills and experiences are essential:

- Must have insurance experience
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
- Change Management
- Data Mapping
- Experience in performing UAT and reconciling to source
- Experiencing of implementing interfaces to ledgers
- Project Focused
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent process orientation
- Broad accounting and particularly life insurance operational and accounting knowledge.
